Samsung is making waves with its upcoming Galaxy S24 FE, an affordable flagship phone that's generating buzz. Thanks to tipster OnLeaks via Giznext, we have an early glimpse of the device.
The phone bears a strong resemblance to the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+, available in black and green colors. The design is flat, featuring three camera rings on the back, and is likely framed in aluminum, indicated by the visible antenna lines.
Design and Build
On the right side of the mid-frame, you'll find the volume rockers and power button. The bottom section is equipped with the SIM tray, USB-C port, primary speaker grill, and microphone. The display bezels are slim but not uniform, with a slightly thicker chin. The screen is a 6.65-inch AMOLED panel, as expected.
Performance Insights
The Galaxy S24 FE is expected to house an Exynos 2400 chip, which scored 2,047 in single-core and 6,289 in multi-core tests on Geekbench. The benchmark listing shows a slightly lower clock speed for the prime Cortex-X4 core at 3.11 GHz, compared to the standard variant’s 3.21 GHz, suggesting a tweaked version of the Exynos 2400 for this model. The device will run on Android 14-based OneUI 6.1, which includes AI features.
Camera and Battery
The camera setup is anticipated to be similar to the Galaxy S24 and S23 FE, featuring a 50MP main camera, a 10MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultrawide lens. Both the main and telephoto lenses will support Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
Battery life and charging specifications are also expected to remain consistent with a 4,500mAh battery, 25W fast charging, and 15W wireless charging.
