Last month, Samsung debuted the Galaxy A55 and A35 smartphones globally including Europe. Within just one month of their debuts, these devices already saw their initial permanent price reductions.
Price Reductions:
The Galaxy A55 model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage now retails for EUR400 compared with its initial retail price of EUR479. Additionally, 256GB models now cost EUR460 (compared with EUR529 at launch).
Similarily, the Galaxy A35's 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage configuration originally cost EUR379 but now sells for EUR300 while 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant can be had for approximately EUR385.

The Galaxy A55 runs an Exynos 1490 System on Chip (SoC), while its counterpart the A35 features an Exynos 1380 processor and both have 5,000mAh batteries supporting 25W wired fast charging with One UI 6.1 built on Android 14. Both phones include 25W wired fast charging support as well as One UI 6.1 with Android 14.
Samsung has introduced their exclusive Knox Vault for increased security on Galaxy A series phones - an innovation exclusive to this series. Furthermore, these phones boast Dolby stereo speakers and AI enhancements designed for photography.
The Galaxy A55 features a 50-megapixel primary camera equipped with OIS, 12 MP ultra wide lens lens and 5-MP macro camera, along with 32 MP front camera and 32MP front-camera for 32-megapixel selfie shots. On the other hand, Galaxy A35 includes 50-MP primary sensor along with 8 MP ultra wide lens camera (5 MP macro camera and 13-MP front camera).
