Samsung has started rolling out the Android 14 update for the Galaxy A52 in Asia and Europe, accompanied by the latest One UI 6.0 system update. This release marks the final major software update for the device, with future updates limited to security patches only.
Update Availability
The Galaxy A52 Android 14 update is currently available in various Asian, European, and Oceanic countries, as reported by SamMobile. Some of the countries receiving the update include Afghanistan, Australia, Italy, India, and Spain, among others.
Despite being launched in March, the update introduces January 2024 security patches, weighing approximately 1.2GB in Europe. The update's size may vary in different regions, with availability expected to expand to the remaining countries in the near future.
Update Details
Initially debuting with Android 11 in March 2021, the Galaxy A52 received subsequent updates to Android 12 and Android 13 in the following years. Android 14 now marks the third and final OS upgrade for the phone, as it aligns with Samsung's policy of providing three generations of OS updates. However, users can still expect security updates for another year.
