Samsung's forthcoming Galaxy A06 has been a topic of discussion for some time, with recent leaks shedding more light on its features. Earlier this month, complete renderings of the device surfaced, and now, trusted source Sudhanshu Ambhore has disclosed its full specifications on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Display and Performance
The Galaxy A06 is expected to sport a 6.7-inch PLS LCD screen with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels. Unlike some of its budget-friendly counterparts, it seems to maintain a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. Under the hood, the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, a chip commonly seen in entry-level smartphones.
Camera and Battery
The camera setup remains unchanged from the previous model, featuring a 50MP main sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor on the back. For selfies, there's an 8MP front-facing camera housed in a traditional notch. The device will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery, supplemented by 25W fast charging capabilities. It will run on the latest Android 14, with Samsung promising two years of operating system updates and four years of security patches.
Design and Storage
In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 167.3 x 77.3 x 8.0 mm and weighs 196 grams. Security is managed via a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Samsung Knox Vault for enhanced data protection. Storage options include 4GB of RAM with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. Audio is delivered through a single mono speaker with Dolby Atmos support.
Pricing and Availability
While the leak doesn't provide pricing details, we anticipate those will be revealed shortly. Stay tuned for more updates.
