Additional Support Details

Moreover, there are reports that Samsung India has set up another support page for this device, although it seems to be unavailable at this moment while writing this article.

Performance Expectations

The “Samsung SM-A066B/DS” has recently shown up on Geekbench, with leaks suggesting that it will come with Android 15 pre-installed. It’s also expected to be powered by a chipset featuring 8 ARM cores operating between 2.0 and 2.4GHz, similar to the Dimensity 6300 SoC found in the Galaxy A16 5G.

Interestingly, the “A06 5G” is now linked to the Mali-G615 MC2, a newer GPU version typically associated with the Dimensity 7300. This raises the possibility that the forthcoming smartphone might be promoted with a modified version of the 6300 or even a completely different chipset name.

RAM Specifications

So far, it has only been observed with 4GB of RAM, while the A16 5G offers configurations with up to 8GB.
