The Realme GT 5 Pro, set to be released soon, will introduce Realme's first-ever periscope telephoto camera. The device will come equipped with a 50-megapixel IMX890 camera sensor specifically for periscope zoom shots. Realme has collaborated with renowned Chinese director, screenwriter, and producer Lu Chuan to showcase camera samples captured using the IMX890 sensor.

The periscope telephoto lens on the Realme GT 5 Pro is expected to offer improved light sensitivity compared to telephoto cameras found on other smartphones. It promises to deliver image quality on par with main cameras across commonly used focal lengths, including 3x optical zoom and 6x lossless zoom. Moreover, it is said to maintain exceptional clarity even at extreme zoom levels of up to 120x.
