Samsung is set to release a range of affordable smartphones in an effort to regain its position in the market. One of these upcoming devices is the Galaxy A25 5G, which recently had its battery listed on Safety Korea's Certification Website.
The battery, with the model code EB-BA256ABS, appeared on the website along with a photo but without any specific details about its capacity or power rating. However, the certification itself confirms that the device will be launched soon. The smartphone has also been listed on Singapore's IMDA, which revealed its support for NFC. Additionally, it has received certifications from TUV Rheinland and GCF in previous weeks.
Leaked renders of the Galaxy A25 5G have given us a glimpse of its design, and its official support page went live a few days ago. Based on these leaks and rumors, it is expected that the device will feature a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. The smartphone is rumored to be powered by the Exynos 1280 Octa-Core SoC, built on a 5nm process, and will be paired with the Mali-G68GPU.
According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G will be available in two storage variants: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage. It is also expected to support expandable storage of up to 1TB via a micro SD card.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Galaxy A25 5G is rumored to have a triple rear camera setup, with a 50MP primary sensor that offers Optical Image Stabilization support. There will also be an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and videos, the smartphone is said to have a 13MP front camera. Other features may include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging, and more.
The Samsung Galaxy A25 5G is expected to be launched by the end of this month or early next month. With its affordable price point and impressive specifications, it aims to attract customers in the Middle East and other markets.
