Rumored Vivo X100s Specifications Point to Possible Inclusion of Dimensity 9300 SoC

Vivo has already released the X100 and X100 Pro smartphones in China, featuring the powerful Dimensity 9300 chip and curved-edge OLED displays. However, there have been rumors circulating about a more affordable device called the Vivo X100s. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo has provided some insight into the alleged specifications of the X100s.

Rumored Specs of the Vivo X100s

If the rumors are to be believed, the Vivo X100s will share many similarities with its curved sibling, except for the display. It is expected to sport a 6.78-inch BOE 8T OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a possible 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the X100s is rumored to be equipped with the same Dimensity 9300 chip as the Vivo X100. It is also likely to come with a generous 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging. The charging speed is speculated to be either 120W or 80W.

Camera Setup and Selfie Camera

In terms of the camera setup, the X100s is said to feature a triple-lens configuration at the back. The main sensor could be a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 with optical image stabilization (OIS). It may also include a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. There is no information yet about the selfie camera, but it is possible that it will inherit the X100's 32-megapixel front-facing shooter.

The Vivo X100 Pro+

Apart from the X100s, Vivo is also expected to launch the X100 Pro+. This will be the top-of-the-line variant in the lineup and is rumored to feature a remarkable 200MP periscope telephoto lens with support for 200x digital zoom.

Expected Launch

Vivo is anticipated to hold an event in China during the first quarter of 2024, where it is likely to announce the Vivo X100s. It is possible that the X100 Pro+ smartphone will also make its debut at the same event. However, based on previous reports, the company may announce the X100 Pro+ in the second quarter of 2024.

The Vivo X100s is expected to offer a more affordable option for consumers who want the powerful performance and sleek design of the X100 series. With its rumored specifications and features, it could be an attractive choice for smartphone enthusiasts.
