Xiaomi has recently announced the upcoming launch of the Redmi Turbo 3 in China, introducing the new Redmi Turbo smartphone series. Before its official release, purported specifications for the Redmi Turbo 3 have emerged on the Geekbench benchmarking platform.
Redmi Turbo 3 Specifications
The Redmi Turbo 3 was listed on Geekbench (version 6.2.2) with the model number 24069RA21C, achieving 1981 points in single-core testing and 5526 points in multi-core tests.
The listing discloses that the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and boasts a significant 16GB of memory. Additionally, the phone will come equipped with the latest Android 14 operating system.
Xiaomi's announcement positions the Redmi Turbo 3 as a mid-range offering within its new 'performance series' lineup. This marks a shift from the previous inclusion of Turbo series smartphones under the Redmi Note lineup, the last of which was the Note 12 Turbo.
Lineup Restructuring
As part of the lineup restructuring, Turbo-branded phones will now form a distinct series, while the Note series will maintain its focus on delivering mid-range phones with flagship features aimed at a broader audience.
Last month, an alleged Redmi Turbo phone, likely the Turbo 3, was identified on the 3C certification with support for 90W charging speed.
Expected Features
Rumors circulating suggest that the upcoming Redmi Turbo smartphone may feature a 5000mAh battery and a 1.5K OLED display.
While Xiaomi has not officially confirmed these details, the Redmi Turbo 3 is anticipated to launch in China later this month. There are speculations that the device may also be introduced globally as the rebranded Poco F6.
