Xiaomi recently hosted an unveiling event for their Redmi Turbo 3 smartphone and Redmi Pad Pro tablet devices in China, featuring impressive features like high resolution large display with battery capacity up to 6000 mAh capacity and the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset.

Xiaomi Has Big Plans for 5G Redmi Pad Pro

Although Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset supports 5G capabilities, Xiaomi decided not to integrate cellular connectivity in their initial Redmi Pad Pro models; according to Android Headlines however, Xiaomi plans on offering 5G versions within weeks or months.

Redmi Pad Pro 5G Details
The "ruan" variant of Redmi Pad Pro, codenamed for its 5G network support, will resemble its non-5G counterpart in every way except that of 5G network connectivity. Three models will initially launch with it: 24074RPD2G, 24074RPD2I and 24074RPD2C to kick start sales within China at first before expanding globally under POCO branding for other markets as well as India.

Global Launch With E-SIM Support

Reports indicate that Redmi Pad Pro 5G may be sold globally as the POCO Pad and feature E-SIM support, eliminating the need for physical SIM cards in calls and data usage. For more details on its specifications, read on.

Redmi Pad Pro boasts an 12.1-inch LCD display with 2.5K resolution, 120Hz variable refresh rate, 600nits peak brightness and TUV Rheinland certification. Compatible with Dolby Vision content and magnetically attachable stylus pen support; 8MP rear camera equipped with LED flash as well as 8MP front-facing camera are standard features on this tablet device.

Internally, it comes equipped with four speakers capable of supporting Dolby Atmos audio streaming, two microphones, an 8GB RAM memory module with 33W fast charging capability as well as WiFi-6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity options and 3.5mm headphone jack capabilities.
