Honor is preparing to launch its foldable smartphone, the Magic V3, to a global audience. After its initial release in China, a new leak from tipster @MysteryLupin suggests that the device will be available internationally in three color variants: Green, Black, and Red.
To date, Honor has only teased the global release of the Magic V3 foldable, without specifying an exact date. However, the global version is expected to have the same specifications as the Chinese model.
Honor Magic V3 Specifications
The Chinese model of the Honor Magic V3 boasts an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. The device is built with a 7-series aluminum alloy frame and is IPX8-certified, making it water-resistant up to 2.5 meters.
The phone features a 6.43-inch main display with curved edges and FHD+ resolution, along with a 7.92-inch internal display that has a resolution of 2,344 x 2,156 pixels. Both screens support a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid, and stylus input. The peak brightness is 5,000 nits, although it is unclear if this applies to both screens.
The Honor Magic V3 includes a triple rear camera system: a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 40MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 100x digital zoom and OIS. The device also features a 20MP front camera for selfies and video calls, available on both the internal and external screens. A Harcourt portrait mode is anticipated in August.

Powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the device offers up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It includes a titanium heat dissipation system. The phone is equipped with a 5,150mAh battery that supports 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. It runs on MagicOS 8, which includes AI features, smart private call, parallel space, and more.
