Redmi is reportedly developing the Redmi Note 14 series for the Chinese market. Last month, the radio certification platform in China approved three Xiaomi phones with model numbers 24115RA8EC, 24094RAD4C, and 24094RAD4C. The 3C authority has also reportedly approved the 24090RA29C variant. This device is expected to be launched as the Redmi Note 14.
Redmi Note 14 3C Certification
The 3C certification for the Redmi 24094RAD4C model suggests that it may come with an MDY-17-EE charger. To put this in perspective, the Redmi Note 13, powered by the Dimensity 6080 chipset, supported 33W rapid charging. For the Note 14, the new charger is expected to offer up to 45W fast charging.
Unfortunately, specific details about the Redmi Note 14’s specifications are still unknown. However, the 3C certification implies that the device might be released either by the end of this month or in September.
Global and Indian Variants
A recent report mentioned that the Redmi Note 14 would also have global and Indian versions. Their respective model numbers, 24094RAD4G and 24094RAD4I, have already surfaced in the IMEI database. It's likely that the Note 14 series will be available in other markets by January 2025.
Expected Features
Reports suggest that the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and Dimensity 7350 chipsets will power the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+ models, respectively. Both variants are anticipated to come with a 50-megapixel triple camera setup on the back and a curved-edge OLED screen supporting 1.5K resolution.
