Xiaomi has discreetly introduced a new Redmi smartphone in the European market, the Redmi 13 4G. This device follows last year's Redmi 12, maintaining its design while incorporating several enhancements. Additionally, Xiaomi's sub-brand recently unveiled the Redmi Pad Pro globally. Here’s what the Redmi 13 4G brings to the table.
Redmi 13 4G Specifications and Features
The Redmi 13 4G retains its predecessor's design, featuring two protruding camera sensors and an LED flash unit on the back. This phone is IP53-certified for dust and water resistance and includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button. The front of the device boasts a 6.79-inch display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Camera and Performance
In terms of photography, the Redmi 13 4G is equipped with dual rear cameras, including a 108MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. This is an upgrade from the 50MP main camera found on the previous model, though it lacks an ultra-wide-angle lens. The front camera has also been upgraded to a 13MP sensor.
Powering the Redmi 13 4G is a MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device is fueled by a slightly larger 5,030mAh battery, supporting 33W fast charging. It runs on HyperOS-based Android 14 right out of the box.
Pricing and Availability
The Redmi 13 4G is priced at EUR 199.99 for the 6GB + 128GB model and EUR 229.99 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. It is available in select European markets and comes in Blue, Pink, Gold, and Black colors.
