Red Magic Gaming Pad: First Tablet with Transparent Design

Red Magic is set to unveil two gaming-centric tablets tomorrow. Reports indicate that these tablets will feature 10.9-inch and 12.4-inch displays, respectively. Prior to the official launch, the company has shared images to highlight the design of the Red Magic Gaming Pad. It is anticipated that both tablets will share a similar design, with differences primarily in specifications like screen size, chipset, and battery capacity.

Design Details of Red Magic Gaming Pad

The Red Magic Gaming Pad will be available in two color options: Deuterium Transparent Silver Wing and Deuterium Transparent Dark Night. The back of the tablet prominently features a camera module situated in the upper-left corner, which includes a 50-megapixel main camera, an LED flash, and RGB lighting.

Beneath this, there is a vertical transparent strip with inscriptions such as “Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version,” “Cooling System,” and “Red Magic” branding, all set against a circuit board design. The bottom edge houses two speakers, a microphone, and a USB-C port.

On the right edge, there is a power button, an unknown recessed button, and a pair of microphones. The left side appears to have connectors for a keyboard attachment. The back panel of the tablet also displays the brand’s logo at the center.

Rumored Specifications of Red Magic Gaming Pad

Reports suggest that the Red Magic Gaming Pad will feature a 10.9-inch LCD screen with a 2.8K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a 10,100mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging.

The tablet is expected to include a 20-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel rear camera. Additional features might include a metal body, an integrated cooling fan, a 3D heat pipe, and a 3D internal air duct.

The alternative variant of the Red Magic Gaming Pad, boasting a 12.4-inch LCD screen, is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and it may come with a larger battery.
