Realme P3 to Feature Much Larger Battery Than Previous Model

Realme introduced the P2 Pro in September last year, marking it as the sole model in the P2 series. However, similar to the P1 lineup, it appears that the upcoming P3 series will feature several versions: the P3, P3 Pro, and P3 Ultra. The Pro variant is expected to be unveiled in the third week of February.

Battery and Charging Details

A new device from Realme with the model number RMX5070 has surfaced on the Eurofins Certification platform (as seen on MySmartPrice), shedding light on its battery capacity and charging specifications. It is believed that this model number corresponds to the Realme P3.

According to the certification, the smartphone includes a 5,860mAh battery and can handle a maximum power input of 45W, similar to the recently launched Realme 14 Pro. For comparison, the Realme P2 Pro features a 5200mAh battery with 80W fast charging, while the P1 has a smaller 5000mAh battery that supports 45W charging. Thus, the Realme P3 is set to provide significantly improved battery life compared to the P1 that debuted in April last year, while maintaining a comparable charging speed.

Storage Configurations and Performance

Earlier leaks suggest that the Realme P3 will be available in three different storage configurations: 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB, mirroring the options from the P1. The P1 utilized UFS 3.1 storage, which is expected to be carried over to this year’s model as well, ensuring quicker app loading times.

Currently, no details are available regarding the chipset. Historically, the company has opted for Snapdragon processors in their Pro models and MediaTek Dimensity chips for other variants. The Realme P1 operates on the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 (6 nm) chip, which is suitable for everyday tasks and some multitasking. It’s anticipated that the P3 will provide incremental performance with a new chip.

Color Options and Further Information

Reportedly, Realme has chosen three color options for this phone: Nebula Pink, Comet Grey, and Space Silver. For more details about the P3 Pro and P3 Ultra, you can check out additional resources.
