Realme GT Neo6 SE to Feature Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 Chip

Realme is preparing to introduce the realme GT Neo6 and GT Neo6 SE in the Chinese market soon. Initially, it was anticipated that the Neo6 and Neo6 SE would be powered by the Snapdragon 8d Gen 3 and Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processors, respectively. However, Realme has officially announced that the realme GT Neo6 SE will be the first to feature the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip.

Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 Confirmed for realme GT Neo6 SE

The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 (SM7675) boasts a core cluster configuration of 1 x 2.9 GHz Cortex-X4 + 4 x 2.6GHz Cortex-A720 + 3 + 1.9GHz Cortex-A520. It also comes with the Adreno 732 GPU for graphics processing. This mid-range chipset has been described as a significant advancement by the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station. It is said to inherit the architecture of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is utilized in many current flagship devices.

In addition to the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip, the upcoming realme GT Neo6 SE is expected to offer other impressive features. According to Tipster DCS, the phone will come with a 1.5K OLED display that supports LTPO (low-temperature polycrystalline oxide) technology, a feature not commonly found in devices within its price range. The device is anticipated to be equipped with a 5,500mAh battery and support 100W fast charging.

Notable Upgrades in realme GT Neo6 SE

In comparison to its predecessor, the realme GT Neo5 SE, which was launched in early April last year, featured the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip and a 6.74-inch 1240 x 2772 resolution OLED display. It also had a 5,500mAh battery capacity with 100W charging support. The price of the realme GT Neo5 SE was approximately 2000 Yuan in China (~$278).
