The Realme GT 7 Pro is now up for grabs in places like Europe, with a starting price of €798.99. This is significantly lower than the OnePlus 13, which is priced at €1,049, despite both phones being rated IP69 and belonging to the 2024/5 flagship category.
Affordable Power
This smartphone could be the ideal option for those looking to enjoy the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite without breaking the bank, although it does come with some trade-offs, like not having wireless charging.
Upcoming Versions
Rumors suggest that a new version of this phone may be on the horizon, potentially at an even lower cost. This new model is expected to drop the 7 Pro’s rear-facing periscope zoom lens in favor of a ring-flash, according to recent leaks.
Performance Insights
The standard GT 7 is said to keep the 8 Elite platform, as indicated by a recent Geekbench listing. The leak points to a device linked to the upcoming Realme phone, which is expected to feature the same octa-core processor, capable of reaching speeds up to 4.32GHz, as seen in the 7 Pro.
However, the device with the model number “RMX 5090” has shown somewhat disappointing scores in benchmarks for its specs, especially since it reportedly has 16GB of RAM. In contrast, the GT 7 Pro has performed better with its 12GB of RAM, which is the limit outside of China.
Future Launches
Despite these initial performance concerns, it looks like the standard version might indeed be launching soon with high-end specifications.
