Realme has officially introduced the Realme 14 Pro+ in its home market today. Right off the bat, this smartphone captures attention with its slimmer, balanced bezels on the front and a newly styled camera arrangement on the rear, which showcases three separate flash units. But there’s more to this device than just its appealing look. Let’s dive deeper!
Specifications and Features
The camera configuration boasts three sensors on the rear: a 50MP Sony IMX896 as the main sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto capable of 3x magnification, and an 8MP ultrawide lens (16mm). For those interested, the main sensor has a size of 1/1.56″. On the front side, there’s a 32MP camera.
This camera setup is driven by Realme’s HYPERIMAGE+ imaging technology. Based on the sample images shared on their site, the imaging capabilities of the Realme 14 Pro+ seem to be a notable improvement from the previous model. The 3x telephoto performs impressively well even up to 30x zoom.
Display and Performance
At the front, the device features a flat 6.83″ OLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K and 1.6mm slim bezels surrounding it. It reaches a peak brightness of 1500 nits, which enhances visibility in bright conditions.
Internally, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip (upgrading from the Dimensity 7200). This new processor provides a 15% boost in single-core and a 12% increase in multi-core performance compared to its predecessor, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. As per the company’s claims, the Realme 14 Pro+ can handle national-level MOBA games at 120 FPS while maintaining a stable frame rate and controlled temperature, thanks to the 6000mm² VC cooling chamber.
Battery and Protection
To support its operations, Realme has included a 6000mAh Titan battery that allows for 80W fast charging. As per the company’s tests, the device can charge to 50% in just 24 minutes. Additionally, it promises 16.6 hours of video playback on a single charge. The battery boasts an energy density of 804Wh/L, which makes the phone just 7.99mm thick despite its high capacity.
All of this is safeguarded within an IP68 + IP69 rated body, which means it can withstand unintentional drops in fresh water—and even withstand jets of hot water, should you decide to test its durability. The phone ships with Android 15-based realme UI 6.0 and includes a visual feature reminiscent of Apple’s Dynamic Island.
Pricing and Availability
The device comes in two color choices—Grey and White—and is currently available for purchase on the official website in its home country. The 12GB+256GB variant is priced at 2599 Yuan (~Rs. 30,400), while the 12GB+512GB version retails for 2,799 Yuan (~Rs. 32,800).
