Tecno is gearing up to introduce its latest foldable and flip smartphones, the Phantom V Fold 2 5G and V Flip 2 5G, in Ghana. According to a recently released poster, Tecno Ghana will commence pre-orders for both models from August 19 to August 24.

Customers placing pre-orders for either the Phantom V Fold 2 or the V Flip 2 during this period will receive complimentary gifts valued at GHS 3000 (approximately $193). The package includes a gift box containing a Bluetooth speaker, a flask, a travel bag, and a Watch 3. Additionally, purchasers will benefit from 15 GB of MTN data valid for six months, 180 days of screen insurance, and an extended warranty of 12+1 months.
While Tecno has not yet disclosed the complete technical specifications for the Phantom V Fold 2 and Phantom V Flip 2, some design changes are noted. The Phantom V Fold 2 showcases a rectangular camera setup at the top, replacing the previous round module. It features a 50-megapixel triple camera unit with an LED flash. For enhanced security, it includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and it appears to support a stylus as well.

The Phantom V Flip 2 marks Tecno's next iteration in flip-style foldable phones. Unlike the original Flip, which had a round secondary display akin to a smartwatch, the Flip 2 is equipped with a larger cover screen, reminiscent of the 3.6-inch outer display found on Motorola’s Razr 50.

Under the hood, the Phantom V Fold 2 and V Flip 2 are anticipated to be powered by the Dimensity 9000 Plus and Dimensity 8050 chipsets, respectively. Both devices are also expected to launch in India, as they have received approval from the country's BIS authority.
