After the recent introduction of the MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra powered POCO C75 globally, the brand seems to be preparing for a 5G variant of this device for the Indian market. Information from 91mobiles has revealed the name POCO C75 5G on the MIUI ROM website, supporting this information. The website indicates that the Indian model of the device will have the model number 24116PCC1I and will feature HyperOS 1, which is based on Android 14.

Moreover, 91mobiles has suggested that this device will be a rebranded version of the Redmi A4 5G, based on insights from industry sources. For those who don't know, the Redmi A4 5G is one of the most affordable 5G smartphones in India, which was launched on November 20, 2024. This essentially suggests that the POCO C75 5G will probably have the same specifications as the Redmi A4 5G.

Specs and Features

The Redmi A4 5G features a tall 6.88-inch LCD display with a notable 120Hz refresh rate. The display offers HD+ resolution and comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio, reaching up to 600 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, it is powered by a Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 processor, along with 4GB of RAM and options for either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. There is also the possibility of expanding storage up to 1TB using a microSD card.

In terms of battery, the device is equipped with a substantial 5160mAh battery alongside 18W wired fast charging. For photography, it has a 50 MP main camera on the rear, complemented by an additional camera. The front camera has a 5 MP resolution. It also includes a 3.5mm audio jack with FM Radio support and enables dual-SIM connectivity. At its launch, the Redmi A4 5G was priced starting at Rs 8,499, so it will be intriguing to see the price point for the POCO rebrand.
