Oppo is gearing up to introduce its latest flagship smartphones in China this October, including the anticipated Find X8 and X8 Pro models, both rumored to feature the cutting-edge Dimensity 9400 chip. An insider known as Digital Chat Station shared key insights about the Find X8 on Weibo today.
Oppo Find X8 Specifications (Rumored)
Reports suggest that the Find X8 will have a more compact design compared to the Pro version. The device is likely to include a triple-camera setup, while the Pro model could feature a more advanced quad-camera system with dual periscope telephoto lenses. According to today's leak, the Find X8 will have a dustproof and water-resistant chassis with an IP68/69 rating.
Additional features mentioned include support for wireless charging, a step up from the Find X7, which launched in China in January 2024 with an IP65 rating and without wireless charging. The Weibo post comments also hinted at the Find X8 incorporating virtual solid-state buttons and a magnetic accessory ecosystem.

Previous leaks from DCS indicate that the Oppo Find X8 will sport a 6.5-inch or 6.6-inch flat OLED display, supporting a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. An optical fingerprint sensor is expected to be integrated into the screen.
For photography, the Find X8's rear camera array may feature a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a periscope telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom. The device is anticipated to run on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 and could be powered by a 5,600mAh battery supporting either 80W or 100W fast charging. The Find X8 is expected to be available in black, white, and blue color options.
