Oppo was among the first Android manufacturers to launch a smartphone powered by the Dimensity 9400 when it revealed the Find X8 Pro at the end of last month. It’s worth noting that the other devices featuring the Dimensity 9400 are the Vivo X200 Pro and X200 Pro mini, which we have covered in different discussions.
International Launch Teased
Currently, all three smartphones are limited to the Chinese market. Nevertheless, Vivo has begun to hint at the international release of the X200 Pro series. Based on recent rumors, it appears that Oppo might not lag too far behind Vivo in this regard.
Upcoming Release Plans
Reports suggest that Oppo is set to officially launch the Find X8 series globally on November 21, although it’s still uncertain which countries will get access to the devices. It looks like Oppo will first introduce the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro in India, before moving into other regions.
If this is true, we think Oppo may delay the launch of its latest flagships in other locations until early 2025. Regardless, the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro are expected to compete well against upcoming flagship models like the Galaxy S25 series and the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL (currently priced at $1,099 on Amazon).
