In April, OnePlus introduced the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3-powered Nord CE 4 (review). This year, the brand is also expected to release two more Nord-series phones: the Nord 4 and Nord CE 4 Lite. The Lite model is anticipated to be unveiled in June. Regarding the Nord 4, a new report has provided updated information about its launch timeline.
A Recent Report on the Launch
According to SmartPrix, credible sources have indicated that OnePlus is planning an in-person launch event for the Nord 4. The report mentions that the official announcement of the device is slated for the third week of July. However, the publication did not disclose any specific details about the device’s specifications.
OnePlus Nord 4 Specifications (Expected)
Reports suggest that the OnePlus Nord 4 will be a rebranded or modified version of the OnePlus Ace 3V, which was introduced earlier this year in China. The Nord 4 is expected to feature a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 2150 nits of peak brightness, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It is likely to operate on OxygenOS 14-based Android 14.
Hardware and Camera
Under the hood, the OnePlus Nord 4 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, paired with LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5,500mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging. In China, the Ace 3V offers configurations up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
The OnePlus Nord 4 is expected to come with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear panel will likely house a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. Given that the Nord 3 was launched at a starting price of Rs 33,999 last year, it is probable that the Nord 4 will be priced similarly.
