Realme GT 5 Pro: Base Model and Display Specifications Confirmed
Chinese smartphone brand Realme is set to launch its latest flagship phone, the Realme GT 5 Pro, on December 7 in China. Ahead of the official unveiling, Realme CMO Xu Qi has confirmed the base configuration and display specifications of the device.
Base Model and Pricing
According to Xu Qi, the base variant of the Realme GT 5 Pro will come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Recent reports suggest that this particular variant could be priced at 3,499 yuan, which is approximately $495.
Display Specifications
The Realme GT 5 Pro was recently spotted in the TENAA certification's database, revealing key details about its display. The device will feature a 6.78-inch OLED curved-edge display with a resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels.
Realme has also confirmed that the GT 5 Pro's screen will be supplied by BOE. The display incorporates advanced technologies to offer an immersive visual experience. It features 8T LTPO technology, enabling an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 0.5Hz to 144Hz, ensuring smooth visuals. The display also supports Pro-XDR HDR technology and achieves a peak brightness of 4500 nits, with a global max brightness of 1600 nits. Other advanced elements include 2160Hz PWM dimming, a 2160Hz touch sampling rate, DC dimming, and 20000 level dimming.
Impressive Specifications
In addition to the display, the Realme GT 5 Pro boasts impressive specifications. It will come with up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device will be powered by a 5,400mAh battery and will support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
For photography enthusiasts, the GT 5 Pro will feature a triple camera setup on the back. It will include a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS (LYT-808), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel IMX890 periscope telephoto lens. On the front, there will be a 32-megapixel camera for selfies.
Other notable features of the Realme GT 5 Pro include a 12,000mm2 heat dissipation unit and the latest Realme UI 5, which will be based on Android 14.
