Nothing Phone 3a Gets TRDA Certification Before Launch

Nothing is preparing to unveil its upcoming mid-range smartphone, the Phone (3a). As the launch date on March 4 nears, the device has appeared on the TDRA certification site, confirming its name and model number but not providing any information on its technical specs.

Model Confirmation

The TDRA listing shows the device with the model number A059 and verifies the name “Phone (3a).” While the certification hasn’t shed light on detailed specifics, recent leaks and teasers have hinted at some potential features of the device.

Expected Features

One of the exciting features hinted at by Nothing seems to be a specialized camera button, reminiscent of the iPhone 16 series. Additionally, here’s what we think we know about the smartphone.

Rumored Specs of the Nothing Phone (3a)

The Phone (3a) is rumored to come with a 6.8-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that boasts a 120Hz refresh rate. It may be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, promising solid performance for daily tasks and casual gaming.

It’s thought that the device will have a triple rear camera setup, featuring a telephoto lens which would be a first for any Nothing phone. The Phone (3a) is also expected to include a Glyph Interface on its back. To keep everything energized, a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support will be included.

Given the company’s previous A-series offerings, the Phone (3a) is likely aiming for the mid-range market.

Even with these leaks, Nothing hasn’t officially verified the specifications for the Phone (3a). As with any unofficial information, it’s best to treat these details with caution until there are formal announcements.
