The Vivo X100 series, which was announced in China last month, is now rumored to be launching in India in January 2024, according to an exclusive report by 91Mobiles. The report states that both the X100 and X100 Pro models will be available in the Indian market. Additionally, it reveals an exciting new camera feature for the series - the exclusive sun shot feature powered by AI.

The sun shot feature in the Vivo X100 series allows users to capture stunning images of the sun during sunrise and sunset. AI algorithms enhance the depth and color accuracy of the photos, resulting in brilliant and vibrant pictures. This camera mode is expected to enhance the photography experience for users.

It is important to note that the global launch of the Vivo X100 lineup is scheduled for December 14, 2023. While the X100 and X100 Pro have already been announced in China, the release of the X100 Pro+ model seems to have been postponed for now.

Moving on to the specifications of the X100 and X100 Pro, both devices feature a tall 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and a peak brightness of 3000 nits. Under the hood, these smartphones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

In terms of battery, the base model of the Vivo X100 series is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 120W fast wired charging. On the other hand, the Pro variant boasts a larger 5,400mAh battery pack that offers 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.

Overall, the Vivo X100 series is set to make its way to India in January 2024, bringing with it advanced camera features and impressive specifications. With its high-end devices and innovative technology, Vivo continues to establish itself as a strong player in the smartphone market.
