Lenovo has unveiled two new Android tablets for the upcoming year 2025, namely the Yoga Tab Plus and the Idea Tab Pro. Both tablets come with 12.7-inch screens that boast a resolution of 2944 x 1840 and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The Yoga Tab Plus targets high-performance users, while the Idea Tab Pro presents a more budget-friendly alternative that balances features.
Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus: Top-Tier Specifications
With a price tag of $700, the Yoga Tab Plus runs on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, features 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and offers 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It has a 12.7-inch display that incorporates anti-reflective technology, providing a stunning 3K resolution and a brightness level that can reach 900 nits, making it ideal for different lighting situations.
The tablet showcases its AI capabilities, powered by the Snapdragon processor, achieving up to 20 TOPS of AI performance. Notable features include the Lenovo AI Note for writing assistance and AI Transcript for converting voice to text in multiple languages.
Lenovo Idea Tab Pro: Budget-Friendly and Practical
Starting at $350, the Idea Tab Pro is outfitted with a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor, up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Like its counterpart, it sports a 12.7-inch display with a 3K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, though its brightness is capped at 400 nits.
This tablet is equipped with an 8MP front camera, a 13MP rear camera, and includes four JBL speakers enhanced with Dolby Atmos technology. It supports Wi-Fi 6E, runs on Android 14, and carries a 10,200mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. Users can also purchase additional accessories like a pen and keyboard for more functionality.
Release Dates and Color Options
The Yoga Tab Plus will be available in Tidal Teal and Seashell when it launches this month. The Idea Tab Pro will come in Luna Grey and Seafoam Green, hitting the market in April 2025.
