Lenovo has started this month with the launch of two new lightweight tablets in China, falling under its Xiaoxin sub-brand. These tablets, the Xiaoxin Tablet 12.1 and Xiaoxin Tablet Pro GT, are positioned as mid-range and flagship options, respectively. This release comes just three months after the introduction of Lenovo’s latest Legion Y700 tablet, which is now facing competition from the Redmi K Pad and RedMagic Astra (currently priced at $699 on Amazon).

New Accessories for Tablets

In addition to these tablet launches, Lenovo is also rolling out dedicated microSD card accessories for all versions. As mentioned at the end of last month, the Legion high-energy gaming microSD card is available in 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB sizes, offering write speeds of 60 MB/s and read speeds of 170 MB/s. The prices for these cards are CNY 159 (~$22), CNY 349 (~$49), and CNY 749 (~$104). Interestingly, Lenovo’s store also lists a 128 GB version, but no pricing details are provided for it at the moment.

Pricing and Options

On the other hand, the Xiaoxin TF Jump Card starts at CNY 69 (~$10) for its 128 GB version. Although Lenovo has mentioned a 64 GB variant, it is not currently available for sale. Nevertheless, the Xiaoxin TF Jump Card includes options for 256 GB and 512 GB, priced at CNY 149 (~$21) and CNY 299 (~$42), respectively. While the two brands of microSD cards are close in price, the Legion high-energy gaming microSD card claims to provide 88% faster read speeds and 20% faster write speeds. At this point, Lenovo has not indicated if these microSD cards will be sold outside of China.
