Vivo is set to release its latest smartphone series, the Vivo S18, in China on December 14th. The lineup will consist of three models: the Vivo S18e, S18, and S18 Pro. Although the official unveiling is still a few weeks away, a recent leak from Digital Chat Station has provided some insights into the specifications of the flagship model, the Vivo S18 Pro.

Vivo S18 Pro Specifications (Rumored)

According to the leak, the Vivo S18 Pro is rumored to sport a 6.78-inch curved OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. One of the standout features of this device is its 50MP selfie camera, which will be housed in a centered punch-hole cutout.

Turning to the rear of the phone, users can expect a triple-camera setup, with the primary lens boasting a 50MP Sony IMX920 sensor, the same sensor found in the Vivo X100. Accompanying the main lens will be a 50MP ISOCELL JN1 sensor for ultrawide shots and a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor for telephoto, offering up to 2x optical zoom. To add a touch of style, there will also be an Aura light below the camera block.

Vivo has confirmed that the S18 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 9200+ chipset. Additionally, the phone is rumored to come with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. On the software side, users can expect the smartphone to run on Android 14 OS with Origin OS 4 on top.

As previously teased, the Vivo S18 Pro will be available in three color options: Black, Green, and Blue. Furthermore, the Vivo S18 series is said to feature Vivo's new Blue Heart AI model, which boasts six billion parameters and aims to enhance the portrait photography experience and more.

The Vivo S18 series is scheduled to launch in China on December 14. While details regarding availability in regions outside of China are currently unknown, it is likely that the Vivo S18 series will be rebranded as the Vivo V30 series for the global market.
