Just a week after unveiling the Spark 30C, Tecno seems to be preparing for another release in the budget smartphone category. This upcoming model, the Tecno Spark 30 4G, has had its renders and specifications leaked by the publication PassionateGeekz.
The Spark 30 4G is designed to meet current expectations for large screens, featuring a 6.78-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Camera and Imaging
The phone's camera system is straightforward, with a dual rear setup. The main sensor is 64MP and is likely paired with another sensor for depth effects. A quad-LED flash is included for low-light photography, while a 13MP front camera handles selfies. There are mentions of AI processing for the camera, although specifics about its features are yet to be disclosed.
Performance and Storage
Inside, the Spark 30 4G is expected to use the MediaTek Helio G91 chipset, a well-known choice in the budget market. It will come with 8GB of RAM and offer either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, with an option to expand via a microSD card.
In terms of software, the device will operate on HiOS, which is based on Android 14. HiOS is Tecno’s custom user interface. The phone will be powered by a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W charging.
Security and Connectivity
Security features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and facial recognition. Connectivity options cover basic needs with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. However, NFC support isn't mentioned, suggesting that contactless payments may not be possible.
Finally, the Tecno Spark 30 4G will be available in two color variants: Orbit White and Orbit Black. The release date for this device hasn't been announced yet, but an official statement could be imminent.
