Earlier today, Realme hosted a press conference in China where they unveiled the periscope zoom camera that will be featured in the upcoming Realme GT 5 Pro. In addition to this announcement, the brand also revealed that a similar camera will be included in their next-generation number series smartphone.
Chipset Details for Realme 12 Series
Following the press conference, a reliable leaker known as Digital Chat Station has shared some information about the chipset that will power the Realme 12 series. According to the leaker, these smartphones will be equipped with the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip. Additionally, the lineup will feature the 64MP OmniVision OV64B 3x periscope telephoto camera, which has already been confirmed by the brand.
The Realme 12 Pro Plus is expected to be the device that will showcase this SoC and camera setup. On the other hand, the leaker previously revealed that the Realme 12 Pro will come with a 32MP Sony IMX709 2x telephoto shooter.
