Vivo is currently working on a new smartphone in its Y-series lineup. The upcoming device, called the Vivo Y200e 5G, has already obtained certifications from Bluetooth SIG, BIS, and Google Play Console. It has also made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. While some key specifications have been revealed through these listings, additional details about the Vivo Y200e 5G have now been obtained from industry sources, according to 91Mobiles.

According to the report, the Vivo Y200e 5G is expected to launch in India by the end of this month. This means that the brand will likely begin sharing teasers of the device in the coming days. It was previously speculated that the upcoming smartphone could be a rebranded version of the Vivo Y100 5G, which recently made its debut in Indonesia.

Features and Specifications

The report reveals that the Vivo Y200e 5G will come with an EcoFiber leather back panel, which will be accompanied by a unique anti-stain coating. This coating will make the smartphone resistant to stains. Additionally, the device is said to feature a 120Hz AMOLED display. It will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. Notably, the Vivo Y200e 5G will be the first Y-series phone to have dual stereo speakers and an IP54 rating. However, no further information about the device has been disclosed in the report.

Design and Processor Details

The Vivo Y200e 5G was spotted on the Google Play Console, which revealed some design elements of the device. The smartphone will have a flat display with a punch-hole cutout positioned in the center. The back panel will feature a rectangular camera module housing three sensors, highlighted by a Gold color. Additionally, the rear panel will showcase a geometric pattern design. The certification also unveiled that the device will be powered by an SM4450 processor, which consists of two A78 cores and six A55 cores. This processor corresponds to the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. The Vivo Y200e 5G will come with 8GB of RAM and will run on Android 14 OS out of the box. These details have also been confirmed by the phone's Geekbench database.
