Lava has introduced a new affordable smartphone in its Yuva series, named the Yuva 4. This device is a follow-up to the Yuva 3, which was unveiled earlier this year in February. The Yuva 4 keeps the same processor, display, and RAM as its earlier version.
Specs and Performance
This smartphone, which supports 4G networks, is driven by a Unisoc T606 processor, along with 4 GB of RAM and storage options of 64 GB or 128 GB. It comes pre-installed with Android 14. However, there is no information regarding future software updates from the company, suggesting that users might not receive newer Android versions.
Camera and Battery Features
The Yuva 4 boasts a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display that has a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The camera design on the back closely resembles that of the previous model. It includes a 50 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera. Additionally, the smartphone houses a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 10 W wired charging.
Pricing and Availability
The starting price for the Lava Yuva 4 is INR 6,999 ($85) for the entry-level 4 GB + 64 GB variant. The cost of the 4 GB + 128 GB version has yet to be announced. It will be available at Lava’s retail stores beginning this month. Customers can choose from glossy white, glossy black, and glossy purple color choices.
