Indian smartphone maker Lava has introduced its new device, the Blaze Duo 5G, which features a distinctive secondary display located on the back. Following the launch of the Agni 3 in October, the Blaze Duo 5G becomes one of the few smartphones with this unusual design.
Lava Blaze Duo 5G Specifications
This phone packs a solid performance with a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7025 chipset, combined with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The standout feature is its dual display configuration. The main display is 6.67 inches and uses a curved 3D AMOLED panel, boasting a 120Hz refresh rate.
On the back, there's a compact 1.58-inch AMOLED display that allows users to check notifications, manage music, or see the time without unlocking the device. The Blaze Duo 5G runs on Android 14 right out of the box, with a promise of an upgrade to Android 15 in the future. For photography, it has a 64-megapixel main rear camera and an additional 2-megapixel sensor, while the front sports a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
Connectivity and Battery Life
In terms of connectivity, the device supports 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and has a USB Type-C port. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. For security, it includes an in-display fingerprint scanner and has an IP64 rating for dust and water protection.
