Though many Chinese smartphone manufacturers are quiet due to the ongoing Mid-Autumn Festival national holidays, iQOO has broken the silence by unveiling a new image of the upcoming iQOO Z9 Turbo+. The brand has presented a glimpse of the Moon Shadow White version of the device. Concurrently, an offline advertisement has appeared, highlighting the two major differences between the Z9 Turbo+ and the existing Z9 Turbo.

Displayed above is the Moon Shadow White version of the iQOO Z9 Turbo+. This color option is distinct from the Starburst White version of the Z9 Turbo. Currently, there is no information about other color options for the device.

The current Z9 Turbo is equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and a 6,000mAh battery. However, an offline poster of the Z9 Turbo+ indicates that it will feature the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset and a larger 6,400mAh battery. The other specifications of the Z9 Turbo+ may remain the same as the existing model.

The iQOO Z9 Turbo+ is anticipated to sport a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits, a 3840Hz PWM dimming, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. Its dimensions are expected to be 7.98mm in thickness, with a weight of 199 grams.

The Z9 Turbo+ is expected to be available in 12 GB / 16 GB LPDDR5x RAM configurations and 256 GB / 512 GB / 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage options. The base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is likely to be priced around 2,299 Yuan (~$325). The device is expected to launch on September 24 in China.
