iQOO is reportedly developing a new model in its Z-series lineup, rumored to be called the iQOO Z9 Lite. This upcoming device will be the third in the Z9 series, following the Z9 5G and Z9x 5G models. Recently, the iQOO Z9 Lite was spotted on the Google Play Console certification, having previously appeared on the Bluetooth SIG. Here are all the details.

The iQOO Z9 Lite 5G is listed on the Google Play Console with the model number I2306. The image render shows a display with a centrally-aligned punch-hole cutout, a thick chin, and a squarish rear camera module. The device appears in a Light Pink color. The display resolution is noted to be 720 x 1612 pixels.
According to the certification, the device features a processor codenamed MediaTek MT6853T, corresponding to the Dimensity 800U, which has two A76 cores clocked at 2GHz and six A55 cores also running at 2GHz. The Mali-G57 GPU is included as well. However, this information should be taken with caution. The listing also reveals that the device will come with 4GB RAM, with expectations of additional options at launch. The smartphone will run Android 14 OS out of the box.
Expected Launch and Pricing
Recently, tipster Mukul Sharma revealed that the iQOO Z9 Lite 5G is expected to launch in mid-July. It is anticipated to be an entry-level 5G smartphone under the Vivo sub-brand. For context, the iQOO Z9x 5G and Z9 5G smartphones start at Rs 12,999 and Rs 19,999, respectively.
Potential Rebranding
Vivo recently launched the T3 Lite smartphone in India, raising questions about whether the iQOO Z9 Lite 5G will be a rebranded version of this device. The T3 Lite features a 6.5-inch 90Hz HD+ display, a 50MP main camera, Dimensity 6300, and a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support.
