In December 2023, iQOO introduced the iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro in China. These smartphones were powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Dimensity 9300 chipsets, respectively. It seems that iQOO is now developing the Neo 9S Pro series, which is expected to be an incremental upgrade over the Neo 9 lineup.
iQOO Neo 9S Pro Series Unveiled
According to recent information, iQOO is gearing up to launch the Neo 9S Pro, featuring the new Dimensity 9300 Plusv chipset in China this month. An initial teaser reveals the white model of the device.
Expansion with iQOO Neo 9S Pro+
There are reports suggesting that iQOO will also introduce the iQOO Neo 9S Pro+, which is anticipated to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The Neo 9 series is projected to compete with flagship offerings from Redmi, OnePlus, and Realme by July. It is expected that Redmi K70 Ultra will incorporate the Dimensity 9300+, while the Ace 3 Pro from OnePlus will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Details regarding the chipset for the Realme GT 6 remain unclear.
The specifics of the iQOO Neo 9S Pro and Neo 9S Pro+ are yet to be officially disclosed. Presumably, besides the chipset variations, both models may share similar specifications with the Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro.
Vivo, the parent company of iQOO, is teasing the launch of the Vivo X100s, X100s Pro, and X100 Ultra on May 13 in China. Consequently, it is likely that the Neo 9S Pro will make its debut in the latter part of this month.
