Note 40 Pro Series Launch in India

Earlier this month, Infinix introduced the Note 40 series globally, which comprises the Note 40 Pro+, Pro 5G, Note 40 Pro, and Note 40 4G models. However, for the Indian market, Infinix will be focusing on releasing the Note 40 Pro and Pro+ 5G variants.

Key Specifications of Infinix Note 40 Pro Series

The standout feature of the Note 40 Pro 5G series is its rapid charging technology. The Note 40 Pro+ 5G is equipped with a 100W All-Round FastCharge2.0 system, capable of charging the phone up to 50% in just 8 minutes. On the other hand, the Note 40 Pro 5G comes with a 45W fast charging system that reaches a 50% charge within 26 minutes.

Both models support 20W Wireless MagCharge, catering to users who prefer wireless charging. Additionally, they offer reverse charging, allowing you to share power with other devices either wired or wirelessly at speeds up to 10W. Infinix claims that the high-density batteries in the series can endure 1,600 full charge cycles while maintaining 80% of their original capacity.

Impressive Display and Performance

The Note 40 Pro series boasts a large 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring a seamless and captivating viewing experience. Corning Gorilla Glass protects the display, which achieves a peak brightness of up to 1300 nits.

Under the hood, the phones are powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 6nm processor paired with either 8GB (Pro) or 12GB (Pro+) of LPDDR4x RAM. Storage options start at 256GB and can be expanded up to 1TB with a microSD card.

Camera and Additional Features

The Note 40 Pro series features a triple-camera setup on the rear, highlighted by a robust 108MP main sensor with OIS for exceptional photo and video capture. This setup also includes a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is a 32MP front-facing camera.

Running on Android 14 with Infinix's XOS 14 overlay, the series offers various features like an in-display fingerprint sensor, an IR sensor, stereo speakers with Sound by JBL, and IP53 dust and splash resistance. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C.
