In the most recent leak, Weibo tipster Smart Pikachu disclosed that the Huawei Mate 70 series will continue with the circular camera design seen in the Mate 60 series. This design choice has been consistent in the Mate line since the Mate 30 series, with the exception of the Mate 50 series, which featured a plate-style module. It seems that the Mate 70 series will adhere to this established design.
Competing with the iPhone 16 Series
The tipster also revealed that the Huawei Mate 70 series aims to compete directly with Apple's iPhone 16 series, not only in hardware specifications but also in software features. According to Smart Pikachu, the Mate 70 series will come with advanced AI capabilities, emphasizing AI imaging and "AI Life." Similarly, Apple is expected to incorporate AI features in iOS 18 and the iPhone 16 series.
