Huawei's upcoming smartphone, the Mate 70 Pro, is expected to launch next month or possibly in November. Although no official announcement has been made, various leaks and rumors have been circulating. Recently, an image of the device has emerged online, giving us a first look at the phone.
Design Features of the Mate 70 Pro
The leaked image reportedly shows a Huawei executive holding the Mate 70 Pro. The phone seems to feature a well-known circular camera setup on its back, equipped with an impressive five cameras. Additionally, the display appears to have a curved design along all edges, a style that has become popular among high-end smartphones.
Live Image Insights
Although the case obscures the rear material and design of the phone, we can spot the volume controls and a possibly highlighted power button on the right side. The case also has three openings at the top, likely intended for a SIM card slot, a microphone, and potentially an IR blaster.
Expected Specifications
Regarding specifications, the Mate 70 Pro is anticipated to be powered by a new Kirin 9100 chipset. Specific details about this system-on-chip are limited at this time, but it is expected to deliver improved performance and efficiency compared to the Kirin 9000S used in the Mate 60 Pro.
In terms of camera capabilities, changes are also anticipated. Previous reports suggested a triple rear camera setup featuring a 60MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 48MP telephoto lens. However, if the recent image is accurate and shows five cameras, the earlier information may need to be revised.
It is crucial to remember that leaks can sometimes be misleading, even when they come from trusted sources. Huawei has not yet provided any official information regarding the Mate 70 series. If these rumored specifications are accurate, it raises the question: will these enhancements be sufficient to compete with the latest flagship phones from other brands?
