AnTuTu has unveiled its latest ranking of high-performing flagship smartphones for May. Leading the pack this month is the newly launched Vivo X100s, powered by MediaTek’s advanced Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset. This chip is an overclocked variant of the standard Dimensity 9300, featuring enhanced AI capabilities, including support for various LLMs such as Google’s Gemini Nano and Meta’s Llama 2 and 3. Securing the second spot is the Oppo Find X7 with the Dimensity 9300 chipset. The third position is held by the Red Magic 9 Pro+, the first Qualcomm entrant on the list, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. A surprising entry is the iQOO Neo 9S Pro in the sixth position. Typically targeting mid-range gamers, the iQOO Neo series features a Dimensity 9300+ chip in this device, earning it a place among flagship models.
Absent Champions
Interestingly, the former champion from April, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, is missing from this month’s list. Additionally, the scores for all these devices are quite close, suggesting that next month’s rankings could shift significantly.
