It seems that HTC is currently in the process of developing a new smartphone that might hit the market soon. This fresh device was recently spotted on both Geekbench and Bluetooth SIG certification platforms.
Model Details and Performance
The smartphone, recognized by the model number 2QDA100, is anticipated to be the successor to last year's HTC U23, potentially named as the HTC U24 or U24 Pro. Geekbench evaluations for the 2QDA100 reveal a single-core score of 1,095 and a multi-core score of 3,006. These results suggest a significant performance upgrade.
Hardware and Connectivity Features
Expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, the phone will incorporate an octa-core processor setup along with an integrated Adreno 720 GPU. With 12GB of RAM and the Android 14 operating system, the HTC U24/U24 Pro promises enhanced performance compared to its predecessor.
Connectivity and Future Launch
The Bluetooth SIG certification also indicates that the device will support Bluetooth 5.3, expanding its connectivity capabilities. While detailed specifications are yet to be revealed, it's speculated that the new HTC model may retain key features such as a Full HD+ 120Hz OLED display and IP67 dust and water resistance. Additionally, the battery capacity is expected to surpass the 4600mAh capacity seen in the U23 series. Although the exact launch date remains unknown, the device's progression through certifications like Bluetooth SIG hints at an imminent release in the upcoming months.
