According to a Chinese leaker, the Magic Flip has been under development for over two years and is set to be launched by the end of the second quarter of this year. This device will mark Honor's entry into the compact foldable phone market. While there is uncertainty regarding whether the leaked image is an official render or a representation, it is suggested that the final product will closely resemble the depicted design.
The Honor Magic Flip is depicted to feature a large cover display similar to the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and a vertically arranged dual camera system. The lower part of the device appears to be constructed with plain leather.

Reports indicate that the Honor Magic Flip is striving to become the thinnest and lightest foldable phone in the market, promising users a sleek candy bar experience. Leaks suggest that the device will house a dual-cell 4,500mAh battery, with other specifications still undisclosed. In the Chinese market, the Honor Magic Flip is anticipated to compete with devices like the Xiaomi Mix Flip and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6.
Aside from the Magic Flip, Honor is also expected to introduce two more foldable display phones this year: the Magic V3 featuring an inward folding design and the V Purse 2 with an outward folding design.
