Honor recently unveiled the global launch of the Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design, a device created in partnership with Porsche, following its initial release in China earlier this year. This collaboration resulted in a smartphone that exudes luxury in both design and specifications, maintaining consistency with its Chinese counterpart.
Luxurious Design Inspired by Porsche
The Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design draws inspiration from the iconic Porsche Taycan, featuring a striking Hexagonal-shaped camera module in Black and a durable yet lightweight titanium alloy frame. The rear panel mimics the car's front vertical styling, appealing to racing enthusiasts, while being IP68-certified for dust and water resistance.
Impressive Display and Camera Capabilities
Equipped with a quad-curved AMOLED display spanning 6.8 inches with FHD+ resolution, the device boasts a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a peak brightness of 5,000 nits HDR, and 1,800 nits global peak brightness. To protect the display, Honor includes an anti-scratch NanoCrystal shield. In terms of photography, the smartphone features a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 180MP periscope telephoto unit with 100x digital zoom, accompanied by LiDAR technology. On the front, there is a 50MP camera along with a 3D depth camera.
Powerful Performance and Pricing
Running on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design is equipped with a massive 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage capacity. It houses a 5,600mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging and 66W wireless charging. Available in Frozen Berry and Agate Grey colors reminiscent of the Porsche Taycan, this premium smartphone is priced at £1,599 in the UK.
