HMD Hyper Specs Leaked: Design, Display, Camera, and Battery

The vibrant HMD Hyper leak that caught everyone's attention last month is back in the spotlight. Well-known leaker @smashx_60 on X.com has shared new renders revealing the upcoming midrange phone's complete color range and clarified some specifications.

The design of the phone closely resembles the recently introduced HMD Skyline, featuring a combination of curves and sharp lines. However, the latest leak introduces three additional color choices.

Now, besides the previously leaked sunshine-yellow, the HMD Hyper is also shown in teal, red, and a more understated gray. The renders indicate a metal frame with a glass back panel.

Display and Camera Features

The front of the device is expected to sport a sizable 6.55-inch OLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a fluid 120Hz refresh rate. The front camera is rumored to be a 50MP sensor with autofocus, capable of FHD video recording.

Internally, the smartphone is anticipated to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, coupled with 8GB of RAM. Storage is likely to be 256GB and can be expanded through a microSD card slot.

Camera and Battery Specifications

The rear triple-camera setup is projected to include a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 13MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor.

Completing the list of leaked specifications, the HMD Hyper is expected to come with a 4,700mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging. Other features include basic water resistance with an IP54 rating, stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5, and NFC.

While HMD has not yet confirmed the Hyper's existence, @smashx_60 is a dependable source for HMD and Nokia updates. We’ll have to wait for an official announcement to find out the price and release date.
