First Look at Sand Gold Variant of Officially Revealed OnePlus Ace 3 Design

OnePlus is set to unveil the OnePlus Ace 3 in China on January 4, 2024. While the official launch date has not been confirmed yet, OnePlus has provided a glimpse of the device’s design through a teaser video, introducing an attractive Sand Gold color variant.

OnePlus Ace 3 Design Revealed

The teaser video showcases the rear design of the OnePlus Ace 3, highlighting a circular camera module. On the right side, there are volume rockers and a power key, while the left edge incorporates an alert slider. The top edge of the Ace 3 seems to house a microphone, an IR blaster, and a speaker hole. However, the teaser does not reveal the front design of the smartphone, and OnePlus has not disclosed any official information about the device’s specifications.

OnePlus Ace 3 Specifications (Rumored)

According to reports, the OnePlus Ace 3 will feature a 6.78-inch curved-edge OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have an in-screen fingerprint scanner for security and run on ColorOS 14-based Android 14.

The Ace 3 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and come with 12 GB / 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, along with 256 GB / 512 GB / 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It will pack a 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging support. For photography enthusiasts, the device will offer a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. On the back panel, it is rumored to feature an OIS-enabled IMX890 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The OnePlus Ace 3 is expected to start at a price of 3,299 Yuan (~$460).

Global Launch as OnePlus 12R

The OnePlus Ace 3 will also be launched globally under the OnePlus 12R moniker on January 23. This event will also mark the introduction of the OnePlus 12 and several other devices.
