AnTuTu has released their new ranking for flagship phone performance. The Snapdragon 8 Elite has been leading this list for several months, but the Dimensity 9400 has made a strong return, claiming the top position based on data from January 2025.
Top Performer Revealed
In detail, the Vivo X200 Pro Satellite Edition, which features the Dimensity 9400, has reached the highest rank in this recent performance evaluation. It achieved an impressive average score of 2,896,624 points. Close behind is the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which earned an average score of 2,888,193 points.
Recent Competition
While the score gap between these two devices isn’t very large, the past few months have seen the Dimensity 9400 struggle against the Snapdragon 8 Elite devices in AnTuTu’s rankings. For instance, the ROG Phone 9 Pro had a notable advantage over the Vivo X200 Pro back in November 2024.
The same trend was observed in the December 2024 AnTuTu flagship rankings. Moving back to the current list, several other phones have also made their way into the top 10 positions.
How Rankings Are Determined
It’s important to mention that AnTuTu creates these monthly rankings by taking several factors into account. One key requirement is that devices must have at least 1,000 valid benchmark runs within the month, which is why the rankings can change frequently. Additionally, it’s not just the benchmark scores that are considered; other crucial elements such as display quality, camera capabilities, battery life, and software performance also play a vital role.
