iQOO Neo 9 Series Design and Specifications Leaked Ahead of Launch
The iQOO Neo 9 Series is set to launch soon, and details about its specifications and design are already making the rounds on the internet. Multiple sources and public certifications have revealed the iQOO Neo 9 specs, and a recent leak by Digital Chat Station has unveiled the design aspects.
Design Details
The iQOO Neo 9 Series, following its predecessor, will consist of two smartphones – the iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Neo 9 Pro. The latest schematics of these upcoming devices have revealed some design details, including the display size. Both the iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Neo 9 Pro are expected to feature a 6.78-inch screen with thin bezels. The display will have a punch-hole selfie cutout positioned at the center. Additionally, the smartphones will have a slim body and a metallic middle frame, providing a sturdy build.
In terms of aesthetics, the iQOO Neo 9 Series is rumored to sport dual-tone colors, departing from the single-tone designs seen on the iQOO 8 Series smartphones. The rear of the devices will feature an all-side curve glass, ensuring a comfortable grip.
The camera setup on the back of the smartphones will include round-camera modules placed in the top-left corner, accompanied by an LED flash. The overall camera module design bears a resemblance to the Honor 90 Series.
The volume rockers and power button will be located on the right side of the devices.
Specifications
The standard iQOO Neo 9 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, paired with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the Pro variant will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, coupled with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
Both smartphones will come equipped with an AMOLED display and fast charging capabilities. They will run on either FuntouchOS 14 or OriginOS 4, based on Android 14, depending on the region.
Pricing
Recently, the company unveiled its flagship series – the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro. The iQOO 12 starts at a price of 3,999 Yuan (approximately Rs 45,000) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The Pro version, with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is expected to retail for 4,999 Yuan (approximately Rs 57,000).
