OnePlus 15 Global Launch: Surprising Price, US Release Delayed

    Key Takeaways

    1. The OnePlus 15 is priced at $899.99 globally, with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, and lacks a complimentary upgrade option for higher RAM/storage configurations.
    2. Pricing varies by region: INR 72,999 in India, CA$1,299.99 in Canada, €949 in the Eurozone, and £849 in the UK, with some regions seeing price increases compared to previous models.
    3. After December 12, the price for the 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage variant will rise to £979 in the UK and €1,099 in the Eurozone.
    4. Pre-orders for the OnePlus 15 have started in Canada, India, the Eurozone, and the UK, but sales in Canada won’t begin until November 18.
    5. U.S. sales of the OnePlus 15 are delayed due to certification issues with the Federal Communications Commission, pending completion of necessary approvals.

OnePlus has at last announced the global launch pricing for its newest flagship, following the introduction of the OnePlus 15 last month in China. To sum up, there were hints that the OnePlus 15 would see a similar price decrease globally as the OnePlus 13 did in China.

    Pricing Insights

While some of these rumors turned out to be somewhat correct, they missed the mark in certain regions. For example, OnePlus has set the price of its latest flagship at $899.99, featuring 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. There has been no mention of a complimentary upgrade to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, unlike the OnePlus 13, which is currently priced at $849 on Amazon. Consequently, this configuration will kick off at $999.99, not including any launch gifts, trade-in offers, or discounts for students.

    Regional Pricing Variations

On another note, OnePlus has also announced starting prices of INR 72,999 in India and CA$1,299.99 in Canada. This means the OnePlus 15 will be pricier than its earlier models in these markets. In contrast, consumers in the Eurozone and the UK will find the OnePlus 15 priced at €949 and £849, reflecting a €50 and £50 reduction compared to the OnePlus 13. Here’s the full list of OnePlus 15 pricing as disclosed today:

It’s important to mention that after December 12, OnePlus will raise the price of the 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage variant to £979 in the UK and €1,099 in the Eurozone. Pre-orders for the OnePlus 15 are opening today in Canada, India, the Eurozone, and the UK. However, sales in Canada won’t commence until November 18. As of now, OnePlus has not provided any confirmation regarding pre-order or sales dates for the U.S. The company’s complete statement about the delayed launch in the U.S. is as follows:

    Certification Delays

Just like all smartphone makers, the devices from OnePlus need to be certified by the United States’ Federal Communications Commission before they can be sold. Due to the ongoing government shutdown, U.S. sales of the OnePlus 15 will be delayed until the necessary certifications are completed. The OnePlus 15 has already undergone all required testing at FCC-acknowledged labs, and the certification application has been officially submitted.

For those who are keen on buying the OnePlus 15 in the U.S., they should check out OnePlus.com/us, provide their contact details, and they will be informed when the device is available for purchase. The OnePlus 15 will be ready for pre-order in Canada starting November 13, as planned, on OnePlus.com/ca_en.

Motorola Moto G76 Launching Globally with Snapdragon and Android 16

    Key Takeaways

    1. Motorola has launched the Moto G67 Power in India, which is the local version of the Moto G100s.
    2. The Moto G series has been updated, introducing a new 2026 edition to replace previous models.
    3. A new device, the ‘Motorola XT2537-4’, has been spotted on Geekbench, likely related to the upcoming Moto G76.
    4. The Moto G76 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, succeeding the Moto G75 which had the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3.
    5. Initial Geekbench results suggest that the Moto G76 will deliver performance similar to its predecessor but with an unknown release date and unclear differentiation strategies.

Motorola has recently introduced the Moto G67 Power as India’s version of the Moto G100s, which was launched in China earlier this month. Coincidentally, the company has also updated the Moto G series, replacing the previous model with a 2026 edition, alongside several other Moto G-related announcements made this month.

    New Model on the Horizon

In another development, a new device has appeared on Geekbench ahead of its official announcement. Currently, the benchmarking site lists it as ‘Motorola XT2537-4’, while ‘XT2534-4’ is noted as a variant of the base model number ‘XT2537’. Various sources suggest that XT2537 pertains to the Moto G76, which is set to succeed the Moto G75 that was released last October and featured a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. In comparison, the Moto G76 is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, a chipset that Qualcomm introduced less than a month ago.

    Performance Expectations

According to the initial Geekbench results, the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 will enable the Moto G76 to maintain performance similar to its predecessor in single-core, multi-core, and GPU-intensive tasks. The chipset includes the same Adreno 710 GPU as the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, and it retains the same CPU clock speeds as well. However, the release date for the Moto G76 is currently unknown, and it remains unclear how Motorola plans to differentiate this new phone from the previous model.

  • Galaxy S26 Edge: Ultra-Thin Design Revealed in Leaked Images

Galaxy S26 Edge: Ultra-Thin Design Revealed in Leaked Images

    Key Takeaways

    1. The Galaxy S26 Edge is rumored to be exceptionally thin at just 5.50 mm, potentially making it the thinnest Android phone.
    2. Recent leaks include images of a dummy model, confirming its slim design compared to other devices like the iPhone 16 Pro.
    3. There were concerns about the project’s cancellation due to disappointing sales of the Galaxy S25 Edge, but reports suggest it is still in development.
    4. The Galaxy S26 Edge may not launch alongside the Galaxy S26 series and could debut later than usual, possibly in February.
    5. The excitement surrounding the Galaxy S26 Edge’s design and specifications remains high, despite uncertainties about its release.

The Galaxy S26 Edge remains an enigma, but recent leaks have revealed just how remarkably thin this device could be. Samsung’s strategy for its upcoming lightweight flagship is still uncertain, leading to some theories that the company may have delayed its development. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean the project is scrapped; despite certain reports suggesting a cancellation, if it does make its debut, it will be even thinner than both the Galaxy S25 Edge and the iPhone Air.

Leaked Details of the Galaxy S26 Edge

A well-known leaker has released actual images of what is believed to be a dummy model of the Galaxy S26 Edge (shown and linked below). These images indicate that the phone measures only 5.50 mm, as confirmed by a digital vernier caliper. When placed next to the iPhone 16 Pro, which is 8.25 mm thick, the Galaxy S26 Edge dummy appears notably more streamlined.

    Potential Impact on the Market

With a thickness of just 5.5 mm, it would surpass the Galaxy S25 Edge (5.8 mm) and even the iPhone Air (5.64 mm), setting a new record for the thinnest Android phone ever. Nonetheless, there are concerns that the Galaxy S26 Edge may never reach consumers. Earlier last month, it was suggested that it had been shelved due to disappointing sales of the Galaxy S25 Edge. However, later reports indicated that the phone is still under development and is being referred to internally as “More Slim.”

A different source has mentioned that while the device is still planned, it won’t launch alongside the Galaxy S26 series early next year. The upcoming Galaxy S models are expected to debut later than usual, possibly around February.

    Conclusion

In summary, while the future of the Galaxy S26 Edge is uncertain, the leaks have sparked excitement about its potential design and specifications. Fans of sleek devices will have to stay tuned for further updates on this intriguing smartphone!

  • Vivo X500 Series Expected to Feature 7,000mAh Battery Upgrade

Vivo X500 Series Expected to Feature 7,000mAh Battery Upgrade

    Key Takeaways

    1. Vivo is skipping the X400 series and will launch the X500 series directly, possibly due to superstition around the number “4” in China.
    2. The upcoming Vivo X500 series is expected to feature a minimum battery capacity of 7,000mAh, a significant upgrade from current models.
    3. The Vivo X300 Ultra model is still pending launch and is anticipated to have at least a 6,000mAh battery.
    4. Vivo is experimenting with battery “trial molds” for future mid-range smartphones, targeting capacities of 8,000mAh to 9,000mAh.
    5. Vivo is prioritizing battery life across all device categories, aiming to reduce battery anxiety for users.

Vivo has just updated its premium phone collection with the X300 series, but the brand is already looking ahead to what’s next. Recent news suggests that Vivo will skip the X400 series, possibly due to the superstition around the number “4” in China, and will directly introduce the Vivo X500. The most exciting part is that the new Vivo X500 series is expected to have a huge improvement in battery life.

    Major Battery Upgrade

Trusted source Digital Chat Station has revealed that the upcoming Vivo X500 series will feature batteries with a minimum capacity of 7,000mAh. This is a notable increase from the existing flagship models. For instance, the X300 Pro has a battery of 6,510mAh in its Chinese version. While Vivo’s current device battery sizes were reduced for the European market (which is unlike the OnePlus 15 and OPPO Find X9 series), we can hope that the X500 series will bring this newfound endurance to users all around the globe.

    Awaiting the X300 Ultra

It’s important to mention that a Vivo X300 Ultra model is still pending its launch. According to the tipster, this particular model will not achieve the 7,000mAh battery capacity. Nonetheless, considering the battery sizes of the base and “Pro” versions, we can anticipate at least a 6,000mAh battery in this model.

Vivo isn’t just focusing on its high-end devices. The same report indicates that the company is currently experimenting with battery “trial molds” for future mid-range smartphones aiming for even greater capacities—potentially reaching between 8,000mAh and 9,000mAh. This incredible density in single-cell batteries is achieved by utilizing advanced silicon-carbon tech.

    Commitment to Longevity

From the flagship X500 series down to its more affordable options, Vivo appears to be emphasizing battery life. With the move beyond the 7,000mAh mark for premium devices and the possibility of near-tablet battery capacities in mid-range models, it looks like the era of battery anxiety may finally be coming to an end.

  • iPhone 18 Pro Max Expected to Be Chunkier Than Any Previous Model

iPhone 18 Pro Max Expected to Be Chunkier Than Any Previous Model

    Key Takeaways

    1. The iPhone 18 Pro Max is rumored to be heavier and thicker than previous models, with an estimated weight of around 243 grams.
    2. The weight increase of the iPhone 18 Pro Max is about 10 grams more than the iPhone 17 Pro Max, which weighs 233 grams.
    3. The thickness of the iPhone 18 Pro Max is expected to be greater than the current model, possibly to accommodate a larger battery or new technology.
    4. All information about the iPhone 18 series remains speculative, as Apple has not officially confirmed any details.
    5. The iPhone 18 series is expected to launch in phases, with the Pro models debuting in the latter half of next year and the standard model in early 2027.

There have been many leaks and whispers about Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 series, even though the iPhone 17 series was just released two months ago. These early hints suggest potential design modifications and camera enhancements for the iPhone 18 series. Recently, there’s been a leak regarding the size of the iPhone 18 Pro Max, which is rumored to be both heavier and thicker compared to past iPhone models.

    Weight Details

The scoop comes from Instant Digital on Weibo. The source claims that the iPhone 18 Pro Max will weigh approximately 10 grams more than its predecessor. This means the new device will tip the scales at around 243 grams, making it the heaviest iPhone to date. The current record is held by the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which weighs in at 240 grams. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 series benefitted from titanium construction which helped reduce weight. In contrast, the iPhone 17 Pro Max reverted to an aluminum body, increasing its weight to 233 grams.

    Thickness Changes

In addition, the leaker indicated that the iPhone 18 Pro Max will also be somewhat thicker than the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The current model measures 8.75 mm, and with the new model expected to be thicker, it’s possible that Apple is either fitting a bigger battery or requires extra space to keep the new 2 nm A20 SoC cool.

    Rumors and Future Releases

It’s important to highlight that these details are merely speculation at this stage, as Apple has not officially disclosed any information regarding the next generation of iPhones. The iPhone 18 series is anticipated to launch in phases, with the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max expected to debut in the latter half of next year, while the standard iPhone 18 is likely to be introduced in the first half of 2027. Additionally, Apple is rumored to unveil its first foldable device next year alongside the iPhone 18 Pro models, which could prove to be a more thrilling release. Nevertheless, some reports suggest that the foldable might also be delayed until 2027.

  • Qualcomm CEO Expects Galaxy S26 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Qualcomm CEO Expects Galaxy S26 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

    Key Takeaways

    1. Samsung is considering shifting away from exclusive reliance on Qualcomm chipsets for the Galaxy S26 series, potentially using Exynos chipsets for some models.
    2. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 may only be featured in the Galaxy S26 Ultra, while the Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus are expected to use the Exynos 2600.
    3. Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon noted that Samsung’s use of Qualcomm chipsets has shifted from a 50% share to around 75% in recent years.
    4. Sales volume predictions indicate that the distribution of Exynos and Snapdragon chipsets for the Galaxy S26 series may resemble that of the Galaxy S24 series.
    5. The Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra are set to be unveiled together on February 25, 2026, in San Francisco.

Every year, there’s a lot of uncertainty regarding which chipsets Samsung will use in its upcoming Galaxy S flagship phones. It often appears that Samsung has been planting hints by regularly alternating between equipping all or just a few of its Galaxy S series smartphones with Exynos or Qualcomm chipsets. For example, Samsung was seen testing different models of the Galaxy S25 with the Exynos 2500 before ultimately deciding to use that chipset exclusively in the Galaxy Z Flip7 (currently priced at $1,099 on Amazon).

    Possible Changes Ahead

Recently, whispers have surfaced suggesting that Samsung might shift away from relying solely on Qualcomm chipsets for the upcoming Galaxy S26 series. As we mentioned earlier this week, it looks like the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 could only be featured in the Galaxy S26 Ultra. In contrast, the Exynos 2600 is said to be the chipset for the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus. Qualcomm’s latest Q4 Earnings Conference Call supports this, with the company believing that Samsung and Xiaomi, among others, may prefer to use their own chipsets rather than Qualcomm’s.

    Qualcomm’s Insights

As has been the case in past years, Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon provided more details about Samsung’s use of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series in the Galaxy S26 series. During the same earnings call, the CEO explained:

“The second part is our relationship with Samsung. We’ve mentioned for several years now — for a number of reasons. This has been true in the past, and I think, in recent years, what was once a standard relationship at a 50% share has now become about 75% share. We consider that our new baseline. When we perform well, we sometimes exceed 75%. For the Galaxy S25, we achieved 100%. Our expectation for any new Galaxy will always be around 75%. That’s how we view things for the Galaxy S26.”

    Sales Volume Predictions

Interestingly, ET News has elaborated on this figure, stating that the distribution of Exynos and Snapdragon chipsets for the Galaxy S26 series may return to the levels seen with the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Most of the Galaxy S26 series is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, but the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus are set to launch in Europe and South Korea with the Exynos 2600, which ET News estimates will account for about 30% of sales volume, differing from the 25% that Amon anticipates. In any case, Samsung is likely to reveal the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra all together on February 25, 2026, in San Francisco.

The Moto G67 Power is priced at INR 18,999 (approximately $214) for the variant with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. However, both Flipkart and Motorola are offering a launch discount, bringing the price down to INR 15,999 (around $181), which is a 15% reduction. Notably, information regarding a higher-capacity 256 GB storage version has been removed from Motorola’s website. The company has also not provided any updates about when the phone will be available globally.
