Oppo has expanded its line of magnetic smartphone accessories with a new version of the Bubble Trendy Selfie Screen, this time engineered specifically for iPhones. The circular AMOLED touchscreen attaches to the rear of a handset, letting users frame and capture images using the device’s more capable camera system.
A compact second screen for photography
The accessory functions as a live viewfinder for selfies and can also display photos or video clips. Away from the phone, it doubles as a decorative pendant that clips onto a backpack or key ring. The original model was limited to a handful of Oppo devices, including the Reno 16 and Find X9 series, but the latest iteration broadens compatibility considerably.
iPhone support and wireless control
The new Bubble works with every iPhone from the iPhone X onward. Once connected, users can take photos with either the front or rear lens. It attaches magnetically and can also serve as a standalone remote shutter with a range of up to 10 meters. This wireless freedom differentiates it from a simple mirror or fixed display attachment.
Shared hardware and pricing
Physically, the iPhone-compatible edition mirrors the original: it measures 7 mm thick, weighs 27.5 grams, and houses a 550 mAh rechargeable battery. The retail package includes a protective case and a key ring. In China, preorders are open at CNY 499, with shipping scheduled to begin on July 6. Oppo has not yet disclosed any plans for availability outside China.
